IMMIGRATION SERVICES

Relief for Children

Protection designed for children and young people.

OVERVIEW

Children who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected by a parent may qualify for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), which leads to a green card. The case starts with a state court order, often a custody order. We work with family law attorneys to obtain it, then file with USCIS, whether or not the child is in removal proceedings.

We also represent children who arrived alone and are seeking asylum, which follows its own procedures, and young people facing removal.

HOW WE HELP

— Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, from state court order to green card

— Asylum for unaccompanied children

— DACA renewals

— Representation of young people in removal proceedings

— Citizenship for children of U.S. citizens
